Requirements
Cluster of Linux Servers
The machine you run the installer from is not one of the servers — it drives the install over SSH.
The machine you run the installer from
Windows: the installer .exe from the zip, as Administrator, on a computer that reaches the servers over SSH. Hyper-V is not needed on this path; only a virtual cluster requires it.
The servers
Two or more: one control, one worker. Add workers later with Extend, up to your plan’s servers per cluster (100 on Supercell™).
Per server: Ubuntu 22.04+, 2+ CPU cores, 4+ GB RAM, 50+ GB disk (150 GB recommended).
SSH enabled and a user with sudo; all servers on the same network with internet access.
Virtual Cluster on Desktop Computer
Two nodes on the one desktop.
Windows 10 or 11 Pro, Enterprise or Education with Hyper-V, which a virtual cluster requires on every plan (Home has no Hyper-V). If Hyper-V is off the installer offers to turn it on. The installer runs as Administrator.
8+ logical cores with VT-x / AMD-V enabled in firmware.
32 GB RAM recommended. The two default nodes take 8 GB each; a quarter of the machine stays with Windows.
200+ GB free disk. Node disks default to 150 GB, thin-provisioned, scaled to fit — never under 50 GB a node.
